Bill Gilbert M.P.T. earned his Master
of Physical Therapy degree from Shenandoah University/Winchester
Medical Center Program in Physical Therapy in 1995. Bill has
been practicing for over 11 years in the Hagerstown and Frederick
area. Most of his experience has come working closely with orthopedic
surgeons and spinal care specialists to rehabilitate patients
with orthopedic and sports related injuries, back and neck disorders,
and pre and post operative conditions. He has provided physical
therapy services in nursing homes, industrial settings, in the
home environment, hospital setting and outpatient clinics. His
specialty is tracking down and resolving painful disorders of
the knee, shoulder, back and sacroiliac joint. He started North
Hagerstown Rehabilitation and Brunswick Physical Therapy with
Joel Weaver in 2004 as they both felt that was the only way
to have direct control of the quality of services being provided.
In his spare time he enjoys golfing, fishing, water activities,
off-roading, and fabricating with metal and wood. He is a husband
of over 19 years and the father of two children. |

Joel Weaver, P.T.A., B.S. graduated
Magna Cum Laude from Carroll community College’s PTA program
in 2005. He also holds a B.S. Degree in physical Education from
Towson State University 1988. Joel has worked in the fitness
and health care field since 1988 as a fitness director and Physical
Therapist’s technician. He is currently a licensed Physical
Therapist’s assist and enjoys working with people. He
takes great pride in assisting people to lead an active healthy
lifestyle. Joel is the Vice President of Gilbert, Weaver and
Associates Inc and provides services as a licensed Physical
Therapist’s Assistant at North Hagerstown Rehabilitation
and Brunswick Physical Therapy. In his spare time he enjoys
fishing and golfing. He also enjoys taking long walks with friends. |

Laura LaBoiteaux, DPT, MPT earned her
Masters and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University
of Maryland at Baltimore. Laura has been practicing for over
2 years in outpatient orthopedic clinics in Frederick, Glen
Burnie and Hagerstown. She has provided skilled physical therapy
treatment to a variety of patient populations. Laura is experienced
in the treatment of patients with neck and back dysfunctions,
sports and work related injuries, motor vehicle accidents, neural
dysfunctions, chronic pain; as well as; both pre and post operative
care of both the extremities and spine. She has taken additional
coursework in Muscle Energy Technique, Neural Mobilization,
and Joint Manipulation of the Extremities. Laura joined the
North Hagerstown Rehabilitation team in July of 2006. She currently
lives in Frederick with her husband and two dogs. In her spare
time she enjoys spending time with her family, photography,
and dance. |

Chris Barnes earned her Associates
degree in Business Administration and Office Management from
the American Institute of Business in Des Moines, Iowa. Chris
has been working in the Physical Therapy field for 6 years in
the front office including 3 years working in the billing aspect.
Chris has been with North Hagerstown Rehabilitation since August
2004. She currently lives in Smithsburg with her husband, son,
and two dogs. In her spare time she likes to ski, traveling,
and shopping. |
